Doxycycline is typically the first-line choice, as it covers most of the major tick-borne pathogens — except Babesia and Bartonella. To ensure full-spectrum coverage, I recommend: – A 6–8 week course of both Doxycycline (for Borrelia and Ehrlichia) and Zithromax (Azithromycin) for Bartonella – Adding a broad-spectrum antiparasitic herb, such as Artemisia (Wormwood) or Black Walnut, to target Babesia and other protozoans This multi-targeted approach gives you the best chance of addressing all potential co-infections early on.
